BLP Art Collective wins grant!

The BLP Art Colletive has been awarded a grant of £150 from Hanwell Carnival! The money has been used to purchase more canvas, brushes, paint and balsa cement, with the main aim of completing an I-Spy map of the animal centre. We have designed some new signs! These should be printed and on display within the next 2 weeks, so look out for them next time you visit the animal centre...

Sarah Fraser has transferred some of the art collective's images onto tiles to be used as the border for an entrance sign to the Animal Centre:

Over the Cristmas period the Art Collective printed and sold cards featuring designs created over the last 3 years to raise funds for art materials. Here are some of the images which were used:

Artwork by Keith Miller - November/December

Keith has created some amazing paintings over the last few months. Some of his images have been used for Christmas cards and we hope to use some for signs on the animal enclosures in the Brent Lodge Park animal centre.

September and October

Since July the Collective's Sunday sessions have only taken place on the first Sunday of the month but we have had some extra sessions too. Last month the Challenge Network helped with one of the sessions. 12 young people came to the studio and did a great job tidying the place up, repairing furniture and supporting some of our artists with their work.
